Outokumpu – Diversity and inclusion

Outokumpu is a global producer of responsible stainless steel, with operations in more than 30 countries and 9,000 employees.

A PARTNERSHIP FOR ENHANCING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVENESS, IN WHICH WE:

  • produced dialogue tools for managers, supervisors, and teams, which can be used in production and white-collar groups.
  • produced online learning courses for managers and supervisors, which deepen the understanding of diversity and inclusion and how managers and supervisors can enhance them in their roles.
  • produced supplementary change management dialogue tools for managers and supervisors, which they can use according to the needs of their teams.

The goals of the program are to increase understanding of why diversity and inclusion are relevant to individual and company success and that everyone has a role in promoting them.

In the pilot phase, the program’s goals have been achieved. The program will be implemented throughout Outokumpu during the fall of 2023 and the beginning of 2024.
