Huhtamaki  -Leadership culture and strategy implementation

Huhtamäki manufactures food, beverage, and hygiene product packaging, with operations in various parts of the world and 19,600 employees.

In the leadership development partnership, dialogical training materials were produced, which HR can use to facilitate dialogue workshops for managers in different countries.

  • The dialogue materials contain various exercises that help managers, for example, concretize their role in strategy implementation and leading change.
  • In addition, the managers received an easy-to-use dialogue tool translated into local languages. With this tool, managers can involve their teams in dialogue about Huhtamäki’s strategy in a practical way and draw up a strategy implementation action plan with the team.

Accomplishments

  • Dialogue work was perceived as very rewarding, and the goals of the leadership development program were achieved.
  • The personnel strategy dialogue tool was developed at the request of the participants in the leadership program

The strategy dialogue workshops for the entire staff will be implemented during the fall of 2023 and the beginning of 2024.
